Chanel Mobile Art - Follow the white rabbit

Adrian Ma | Branding, Design, Event, Inspiration, Left Brain, Right Brain | Thursday, March 20th, 2008

Imagine tumbling down the rabbit hole in Wonderland and landing smack in the middle of a David Lynch movie set. In a nutshell, this was my experience at the Chanel Mobile Art Exhibition.

Unlike many conventional art exhibits, this interactive audio-guided tour takes you through a journey of the senses and leaves you somewhat bewildered with what just took place. This traveling museum concept also uses the backdrop of each city to create a piece of structural landscape art wherever it goes. I don’t want to give away too much so you’ll have to check it out for yourself.

Inflowmation - Julius Popp’s bit.fall

Adrian Ma | Design, Event, Left Brain, Right Brain, Technology, Video | Thursday, March 6th, 2008

German artist Julius Popp is known for integrating elements of design and technology in his works of art. For his Bit.fall exhibition, Popp utilizes a device with computer-regulated valves suspended from the ceiling; droplets of water are released at specific time intervals to create preset formations. The result is a cascade of words and images that magically rain down and disappear upon impact with the ground.
