After six months of deliberation, my sister finally decided which “mui” ambigram tattoo design to go with. She gathered her courage and was officially inked by Joey Pang at the Tattoo Temple on July 28th, 2009.

The tattoo artist recommended that the tattoo run diagonally behind the ear towards the jawline so we decided to go with design 4. The overall shape of design 4 is elongated and wavy accommodating the preferred size and space.

We absolutely love how this turned out! What do you think?

  2. It’s an ambigram (meaning that it reads the same when flipped 180 degrees) that says “Mui”
