Boston-based artist Chris Hosmer’s portfolio contains some fantastic sketches and illustrations, but we’re most impressed with his use of tape on canvas. In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, here’s one of his latest creations:

Cath Riley’s main body of work focuses on large scale, 3D models. However, her recent exploration into pencil drawings shows her range as an artist. Her creations are beautifully controlled, detailed, and almost photo-realistic. Simply gorgeous!

I would love to see her and Andrea Joseph have a casual illustration dual.
