Ever since reading Angels & Demons, I have been intrigued by how ambigrams are created and presented. I came across Logo Design Love’s blog and they have a nice round-up of ambigram logos done in 2008. One of my favorites is mentioned in the comments section - the 20th anniversary logo for The Princess Bride. The logo and the background environment are integrated beautifully!

The whiz kids at Nike have one-upped the competition once again. Their next product concept entitled “Nike Hindsight” is a pair of futuristic sunglasses with super-peripheral vision. Nike is targeting bicyclists who would benefit from earlier detection of vehicles approaching from the side as well as reducing the amount of head rotation to check behind, but this concept can potentially have a multitude of consumer applications.
